Grand Ledge

Grand Ledge is part of BORN’s story—the studio first opened there before moving into West Lansing. Many of our earliest families still commute from the Ledge along M-43 / Saginaw Highway, usually about 15–20 minutes. Parents balancing school sports, downtown events, and river-town weekends often want clear coaching and a calm lobby more than a closer but thinner program.

If you live near Island Park, Bridge Street, or Grand Ledge Public Schools campuses, West Lansing is a straight corridor drive with simple plaza parking for evening classes.

Delta Township & Waverly

For Delta Township and Waverly families, BORN is effectively a neighborhood studio. The building sits on W Saginaw St in the West Lansing corridor—often under 10–12 minutes depending on your side of Waverly Road or Canal. That short hop is why multi-class schedules (technique plus a second style) stay realistic during the school year.

Waverly Community Schools calendars move fast; families here tend to care about classes that start on time, place dancers in the right level, and keep coaching personal.

Holt & Dimondale

Southside families from Holt and Dimondale typically reach us in about 15–25 minutes via US-127 or Lansing Road connectors—without needing a deep East Lansing lot search on busy nights. Holt’s strong school-arts energy pairs well with jazz, musical theatre, and recreational-to-competitive pathways; Dimondale families often want polished training without a marathon drive every weeknight.

Okemos, Haslett & East Lansing

Eastside families usually take I-496 west into the Saginaw corridor—about 20–30 minutes depending on campus and school traffic. Okemos and Haslett parents often research instructors carefully before committing; East Lansing families frequently want serious training with a calmer culture than ultra-crowded campus-adjacent options, especially on game days.

Carpools between Okemos, Haslett, and East Lansing are common. Once you’re on 496 west, the studio is an easy final stretch with plaza parking.

Mason & DeWitt

Mason (county seat, strong tradition around school and community events) and DeWitt (Clinton County, structured school calendars) both sit roughly 20–30 minutes away via US-127. Families from these areas often treat BORN as their “city studio” for style depth—acro, competitive team, adult classes, musical theatre—that smaller towns may not staff fully.
